Dear Friends of St.
Today Brother Anthony and Brother Andre were officially relieved of any duties involving St. Joseph School. We join with Father Ishmael in prayer for our school and our children. We pray for kindness, humility, patience and the sacrifice required of each of us as we inherit the task of continuing a tradition of Catholic education established in 1898 by the Sisters of Divine Providence.
We, as a community living in the spirit, recognize, especially in this time in history, the significance and importance this institution symbolizes as we struggle to instill in our children and grandchildren the values, knowledge traditions and rituals of our Catholic faith. This is no small responsibility but we now control our own destiny. There is a lot of work to be done. Slowly and methodically a plan will come together, we will succeed. Pray for St. Joseph School, Father Ishmael, the Brothers and our church. Sincerely,
Warren J. Plauche, M.D. President Mater Dolorosa Church Parish Council
